Chicano Solidarity: From LA to KC, We Carry Each Other’s Stories

Chicano Solidarity:

From LA to KC, We Carry Each Other’s Stories

📅 Thursday, June 26th | 6:00–7:30 PM
📍 2301 Lexington Ave, Kansas City, MO 64124

Thank you for joining us in this powerful space of healing, storytelling, and solidarity. As ICE raids continue to harm our communities—from LA to across the country—we come together to remind one another: our stories protect, inspire, and liberate.

This gathering is more than just an event—it is an act of resistance, love, and rooted connection.

🫶🏽 We will begin with a grounding circle, reflect in silence for those impacted, and hear stories from our host, RosaLinda Martinez Aviles, followed by an open storytelling circle.
🗺️ You'll also be invited to contribute to our Barrio Map, marking your roots and the places that shaped you.
❤️ We’ll close in community, reminding ourselves that we are never alone—in the struggle or in the healing.

Please fill out the form below so we can welcome you fully into this space.
All are welcome. Come as you are, with your story, your heart, and your presence.
