Our legends are in the garages, not the boardrooms.
Their uniforms are grease-stained jumpsuits, not tailored blazers.
Their hands are calloused, not manicured—because they’ve built lives, dreams, and entire communities from the ground up.

They are mentors to our youth, the ones who see brilliance in kids others overlook.
They teach by doing. They lead by example.
They don't chase clout or collect accolades.
They create space—quietly, consistently—for those who are often unheard, unseen, and underestimated.

You won’t see their names topping Kansas City’s award charts.
But you’ll see their impact in the way a young person stands taller after being taught by them.
You’ll see it in every lowrider they poured their soul into, in every bike crafted with intention and pride.
They are our storytellers, our builders, our protectors.
And they don’t need votes to prove their worth.

These aren’t followers.
These are leaders.
And we honor them our way.

So yes—we want to know:
Who is your Lowrider Legend?
Who has shaped our youth, built the culture, carried the weight, and passed on the craft?
Whether they’re still with us or riding with the angels, tell us who they are.
We’re also lifting up the next generation—young lowrider artists and builders, those just starting to leave their mark.

This person may not be on a stage or in the spotlight, but they’re shaping lives every single day. We want to honor their selfless work and lasting impact.
